Terms of Use of the Baika + Saúde Platform and Website

1. Introduction

This website and the associated digital platform are owned by Teramed Sistemas de Saúde, S.A., a corporation headquartered in Luanda, Talatona Municipality, Talatona Urban District, Prometeus Building, Avenida Samora Machel, legally incorporated in Angola (hereinafter referred to as “Teramed”), and are governed by these Terms of Use.

Baika + Saúde is an exclusive product of Teramed that provides an integrated digital platform for telemedicine services, health unit management, home medical assistance, psychology, digital pharmacy, and other complementary health solutions, operating in Angola and internationally.

2. Acceptance of the Terms of Use

By accessing and using the website and platform, the User declares that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any of the clauses, you should not use the services provided.

3. Changes to the Terms of Use

Teramed reserves the right to change, update, or delete, in whole or in part, these Terms of Use at any time and without prior notice. Changes take effect immediately upon publication. Regular consultation of this document is recommended.

4. Access and Availability

Access to the website and platform may be temporarily suspended, without prior notice, for technical, operational, or force majeure reasons, including maintenance, updates, or security improvements. Teramed may also permanently or temporarily terminate any of the services provided, without obligation to compensate.

5. Use of the Platform

The User undertakes to use the website and platform only for lawful purposes, and agrees not to:

- Publish or transmit illegal, offensive, defamatory, or discriminatory content; - Send false information or use third-party identities; - Use the platform for unauthorized commercial purposes; - Introduce malicious files or code (viruses, trojans, etc.); - Collect data from other users without consent; - Remove or violate copyrights and legal notices; - Disrupt the normal functioning of the platform.

The use of the platform is the sole responsibility of the User, including any damage caused to their computer equipment or data loss.

6. Specific Terms for the Telemedicine Service

By using telemedicine services, the User acknowledges that:

The service is intended for non-urgent consultations and follows the legal and ethical standards of remote clinical practice.

7-A. Terms on Home Medical Assistance

The home medical assistance feature allows users to request, through the platform, visits from independent healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, among others), duly licensed and registered.

8. Intellectual Property

All elements of the platform and website (including name, logos, interface, texts, images, videos, and code) are the property of Teramed or duly authorized third parties.

9. Personal Data Protection

The collection and processing of personal data carried out through the website or application are regulated by Teramed's Privacy Policy, in accordance with Angolan data protection legislation.

10. Informational Content and Limitation of Liability

The information on the website and platform is for informational purposes only and does not replace in-person medical advice.
